Helping People Through Life’s Big Transitions
Making a difference in people’s lives has always been my calling.
Whether I was helping patients understand the importance of oral health during my years in
healthcare or guiding families through one of life’s biggest milestones today, my goal has always
been the same: to help people feel informed, confident, and supported during important
decisions.
Real estate is often about more than just buying or selling a property. For many families, it
represents a major life transition — moving into a larger home as the family grows, simplifying
life through downsizing, or relocating for new opportunities.
I especially enjoy helping clients who need to coordinate selling their current home while
purchasing their next one, ensuring the timing, strategy, and financial decisions align so the
process feels smooth instead of overwhelming.
My approach is rooted in education, strategy, and clear communication, helping clients
understand their options so they can make confident decisions for their future.
My Journey
I was born in the Philippines and moved to Hawaii with my family at the age of 11. Growing up
between cultures shaped my perspective and taught me the value of community, education, and
resilience.
I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Hawaii in
2005, beginning a career dedicated to helping people improve their health and well-being. In
2007, I relocated to Washington and continued working in healthcare while also exploring new
ways to serve and support others.
Over time, I discovered that real estate allowed me to combine my passion for helping people
with my entrepreneurial spirit. The process of guiding families through buying or selling a home
felt like a natural extension of the work I had already been doing — educating, supporting, and
helping people make important decisions that improve their lives.
Today, as a licensed Real Estate Broker in Washington, I bring that same mindset into every
transaction: helping clients understand the process, evaluate their options, and make decisions
that align with their goals.

Giving back has always been an important part of my journey.
As a student, I was fortunate to receive scholarships and financial assistance that helped me pursue my education and build the life I have today. That experience shaped my desire to create opportunities for others facing similar challenges.
To honor that commitment, I founded the Maricon Hilario Foundation, which provides scholarships to students in financial need in the Philippines.
Through my real estate business, Homes By Maricon, I donate a portion of every commission to support the foundation’s mission of helping students access education and pursue their dreams. I also welcome contributions from generous donors who share the same vision of investing in the
next generation.
Whether through healthcare, real estate, or philanthropy, my purpose remains the same:
to serve, educate, and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
